Vietnam and Cambodia are popular countries in Asian history. As Social Studies and History subjects are my favorites, these are the two places I wanted to visit since I was in grade school. Their history, economy, politics and society have these alluring echoes across the continent.
Impulsively, I booked a flight last February 2015. Out of nowhere, it was an 8-day streak away from home alone. Though this is not my first solo travel, nerves came in as this will be my first travel abroad! My first time to get out the country! And for me, that was huge!!!!!!
Upon booking, my travel research online begun. It was about 5 months of preparation for myself and my pockets.
How did I get my flight? I booked a flight thru Cebu Pacific Air at PPTA Travel Tour Expo. It was my 2nd time to book a flight on that travel event.
Luckily, I got one of the cheapest flights! Since my entry will be Ho Chi Minh City and I will depart from Hanoi, basically from south to north. I need to strategize and be smart on my plans. Here’s how it went thru:

Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh City – One Day of Beautiful Chaos + Cu Chi Tunnels – Memories of Terror

Day 2 – On the road from HCMC , stop at Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
Day 3 and 4 – Cambodia – Ancient Charm
Day 5 – SR to PP to HCMC then fly to Hanoi
Day 6- Ha Long Bay – Natural Wonders of the World

Day 7 – Hanoi – The Capital and Classic City

Day 8 – Departure from Hanoi to Manila
